Zeta Medica

Do Combat Medics Carry Blood. Combat medics in the united states army and united states navy hospital corpsmen are virtually indistinguishable from regular combat troops, except for the extra medical equipment they carry. All this gear adds bulkiness, which can make an ifak kit difficult to deal with.

Army doctrine requires medics to carry one primary weapon and, if possible, a secondary weapon. You can get assigned to a line unit, or you can get stuck in a clinic taking vitals all day (important to remember that if you are assigned to a clinic you are required to buy at least two combat medic bumper stickers).as far as i know the only way to make sure you get assigned to a line unit is to volunteer for airborne and then rasp. At least, that includes the sa80a2 rifle with an ag36.
